Genesis dues are $15.00 a year.
Genesis Home
Educators is a Christian Homeschool Support Group. We
have membership number limited to 30 families to help support a family atmosphere within the group. Being number limited
has many benefits and allows no child or family to be "lost in the crowd" during events. It also allows us
to offer more personal attention to the homeschool needs of each child & family as a group. Genesis member families
consist of both new and experienced homeschoolers.
We
are well established as the 2nd oldest homeschool group in the area. We offer many different type of events, field
trips, and other activities that provide opportunities for children of all ages to expand their horizons, and
enjoy social interaction with other homeschoolers. Genesis is a group in which children can
thrive, and families can gather in Christ as we encourage one another in our homeschool adventure.
Genesis is based in Spalding County & Pike County, but we also serve the
surrounding counties of: Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Butts, Coweta, Monroe, and Upson.
Genesis Home Educators
exists as a ministry for the purpose of providing information,
encouragement, support, and service to Christian home educators including, but not limited to, the following:
*Providing encouragement to Christian home schooling families.
*Providing
information regarding the legal climate of home education in Georgia
and in our nation.
*Working to protect the future freedoms of home education in Georgia and in our nation.
*Reviewing and disseminating home
education materials and information considered vital to Christian home educators.
*Conducting activities, field
trips, and homeschool 101 to provide information and help to Christian home educators and their children.
*To provide an outlet for those homeschoolers seeking to communicate &
build support networks with other families.
